| 11168 | FreeLords | games | -1 | ParaGUI Dependency | Second time I've tried to compile it. Died on ParaGUI dependency. If you guys want more users, I suggest either distributing ParaGUI inside your package, or providing RPMs of both. | 2003-05-09 10:00:51 | 0 |
| 11169 | Dark Places | games | -1 | Re: Best Quake1 code enhancement out the | I would add the fact that savegames are in the game directory and not in the user directory. Other than that the game is really a blast to play again! | 2003-05-09 10:44:42 | 11166 |

[activate@activate temp]$ ./tribes2-25034-cdrom-x86.run Verifying archive integrity...OK Uncompressing Tribes 2 25034 Update................................................................................................................................ ./update.sh: line 60: 25897 Segmentation fault loki_patch --verify patch.dat The program returned an error code (1) And that's that. | 11171 | 3687 | news | 6327 | 3687 | This so makes my day. I was about to mark Aftermath dead in the Project List forum. I've been waiting to see this one for a while. I'll have to see if I can get my friends I played TM2 online with to sign up for the beta. <p> Edd | 2003-05-09 11:54:46 | 0 |

| 11175 | ptennis | games | -1 | Source maybe? Or just freeware? | This looks pretty fun, but I'd really be interested in the source code to see a game programmed using SDL. Also, the source would allow us to slow the game down to a reasonable speed instead of waiting for the creators to fix the problem themselves. | 2003-05-09 13:48:51 | 0 |
| 11176 | Crimson Fields | games | 506 | Looks pretty good | Good graphics, some sound effects here and there and overall pretty well done. Havn't really played it all that much, but it looks like it could be quite a lot of fun, once somebody adds a champaign and some tuturial missions. Some clearer or brighter graphics for the vehicles would be good, its currently a bit hard to distinguish them or find them on the terrain. A bit more visual feedback after an attack would also be good, its currently a bit hard to see what happened. But so far, great work. | 2003-05-09 14:04:05 | 0 |
| 11177 | Dark Places | games | 2328 | Holy exclamation of joy, Batman! | Now this is damn impressive! I've seen other Quake mods that do some of what this one does (especially the shell casings and alternate weapons thing), but never so well! And the new graphics are VERY nice. Super-sweet explosions that really make the originals look, well, primitive. And the blood thing...wow! Very very cool. For extra niftiness, try watching blood in the water...it actually looks like blood does in water! (Don't ask how I know what that looks like.) And the souping-up of the weapons is verra cool. Now the shotgun is actually an impressive weapon, with explosive shells! The super-shotgun is almost overkill. And the rocket launcher...heeheehee. *BOOM*<br> <br> Six stars, I say! Sixteen stars!
