| 10971 | Unreal Tournament 2003 | games | 3722 | ???? | No matter where I look all I can see is a Windows version of this patch. Is this even out for Linux yet? If so can someone give me a link. Thanks! | 2003-05-02 06:57:51 | 0 |
| 10972 | Dodgin' Diamond 2 | games | -1 | small review | nice polish, it compiles and installs well without hassle, and runs nice. It has menus and so on. old style gfx (low resolution!).
Playability is not great, since the feel is quite too "hard", at least controlling by keyboard.
Great music, decent sound.
Overall, nice small game, not extremely funny so far.
lale | 2003-05-02 07:03:06 | 0 |
| 10973 | Unreal Tournament 2003 | games | 5432 | Re: ???? | It's here, but loki_update and/or the in-game updater should find it automatically. Before you update, just make sure that the System/Setup.int file in your game directory is UT2003's original one, not the one from Epic's Bonus Pack One (if you installed it, that is).
DISCLAIMER: there might be other files from the Bonus Pack interfering with the patch as well - System/Setup.int just happens to be the first one that pops up and stops the patch from working. All I can say is that I do have Epic's Bonus Pack installed (and I took care not to overwrite any existing UT2003 files when installing it), and both the update process and the updated game itself work fine for me. YMMV. | 2003-05-02 07:19:38 | 10971 |
| 10974 | Unreal Tournament 2003 | games | -1 | Updater with UT2003 | I stumbled across a possible answer for the updater problems some are experiencing. Here is what worked for me. After many tries to get the update to work I finally downloaded the patch from one of the mirrors. After experimenting around for a bit I noticed that I had 2 files in my ut2003/system directory, one called Setup.int~ (the main error file) and another called Manifest.ini~ (the next error you will see if you were to follow this suggestion). I renamed the Setup.int file first to oldSetup.int and renamed the Setup.int~ to Setup.int. I ran the patch and got another error about Manifest.ini so I renamed the file to oldManifest.ini and renamed Manifest.ini~ to Manifest.ini. Bingo! The patch went right in and ut2003 came up fine. Just for giggles I ran the Loki Updater and had it check for updates. It said no updates found. Hope this helps anyone else out there suffering from this issue. YMMV. :) | 2003-05-02 07:32:47 | 0 |
