(Right now, it seems that many people think that is the objective, while it is not really.) Perhaps this is a more realistic combat simulation than anyone imagined. As for civilian casualties, I don't remember there really being any civilians to.. ah... casualitize. But you will get in trouble if you, say, blow up the person you are trying to rescue.
