| 10451 | Pingus | games | 3722 | I can't wait for the full release! | Once the playable (not tutorial) levels are added this game is going to kick ass. I've watched it develop over the last few years and had pretty much given up on it, then I saw 0.60 was out. I downloaded and checked out the Linux binary and all I can say is "FANTASTIC!". | 2003-04-18 01:23:09 | 0 |

| 10455 | nij | games | 6667 | nij | huuumm the site + source is gone,
anhow this old game I made sux.
- It has no good story line
- source is a mess,
- no good collision detection
- hardly playable / slow

I'm not willing to continue making on it,
in fact I'm already making a better game. :-) | 2003-04-18 04:13:11 | 0 |
| 10456 | FreeLords | games | -1 | Re: Linux build | Well I succesfully compiled the 0.2.2 on a SuSE Linux 8.1 bet even before I had to compile the libsigc++ 1.2.4. After having installed libsigc++-devel-1.2.4.i386.rpm the freelords-0.2.2 was succesfully compiled with the --disable-paraguitest option. Now I try to make an rpm package but it is not as easy as it seems to be. | 2003-04-18 04:18:53 | 9709 |
| 10457 | Pingus | games | 6406 | Just what I needed! | I've been looking forward to this ever since installing Linux for the first time. Lemmings has been sorely missed ever since I scrapped my old Amiga. Now if we could only get Worms as well...... One bad thing though: I compiled from source to make sure I got clanlibGL support, and on doing 'make install' it installed everything except the binary, which had to be copied by hand. Looking forward to the 'proper' levels now.... | 2003-04-18 04:20:24 | 0 |
| 10458 | Pingus | games | -1 | a few questions | How do you release a blocker? Is it possible to change the direction of a blocker while stopped? | 2003-04-18 04:36:44 | 0 |
| 10459 | Pingus | games | -1 | Re: Just what I needed! | Are you sure that I didn't get installed? It's not in /usr/local/bin but in /usr/local/games if you don't specify any other options. | 2003-04-18 04:41:13 | 10457 |
| 10460 | Pingus | games | 506 | Re: a few questions | You simple give the blocker another action and it will continue with that one, in Lemmings that was not possible, so it might confuse a few people. Direction changing is only possible if Pingus ran against the wall or against a blocker, you can directly influence the direction. | 2003-04-18 05:14:51 | 10458 |
