XTux games -1 XTux This looks very promising, but I can't get past a serious bug during the loading sequence. Seems that none of the XPMs want to load properly--I get tons of error messages out of Xpm, then it crashes out. Anyone had this problem, and know a work-around? 1999-07-14 23:41:36 0
URBAN games -1 URBAN This is quite possibly the most frustrating compile I've ever dealt with. And even with the fix from the webpage (change a line in sound.cc), it still does nothing more than Segmentation Fault every time I run it. Anyone dealt with this wonderful condition? It looks like fun, but I can't say for sure yet. 1999-07-14 23:50:35 0
XTux games -1 XTux Couldn't get pass Xpm errors Xpm "images/bsd/bsd_n_2.xpm" failed to load. Status = XpmColorFailed Xpm "images/bsd/bsd_ne_0.xpm" failed to load. Status = XpmColorFailed ... (irix 6.2, gcc 2.8.1, xpm-3.4i) 1999-07-15 17:04:37 0
ines games -1 ines Great emulator. Just one problem, no glibc2 binaries. 1999-07-15 21:20:39 0
XTux games 826 XTux Some of the most fun I have ever had. I love killing those annoying Paper Clips. He is even more annoying in MS Office 2000. I asl love the nukes on the Dragula level. Killing Certified MS Zombies in bunches :-) Another example that 3D graphics don't have to be used to make a great game-Refering to a discussion on the Linux Game Developer's Mailing list 1999-07-15 23:11:34 0
XTux games 558 XTux What a game! Nice-looking gfx, great heros (of course we like them all ;), visionaire story, no need for mysterious libraries (Actually it runs on Solaris)...all we need. If only I knew how to finish a level... P.S.: After activating "VERBOSE", XTuX did no longer exit with signal 11. A new version solves the problem without verbosing. 1999-07-16 02:57:10 0

XTux games 985 XTux Does this game not operate in 8bpp? I've poked through the source, and found that the XPM errors the two anonymouses reported are built into xtux itself, not XPM. As near as I can figure, the binary needs more colours than I have (I'm at 256c, and my cruddy vidcard won't go any higher) in order to operate. Oh well...looks like fun. 1999-07-16 20:38:24 0
