| 9603 | Eternal Lands | games | -1 | Re: Amazing | As for the framerate, I get better framerate than in any 3D game less than a year old. I have an old 8MB matrox card, and this game actually gets 10-30 FPS, where other games are 1-3 unless they completely refuse to run (ut2k3). The game does not screw up if you don't read the license (however I think there was a bug in an old version, so back then you may have been right), it just informs you in a rather humerous way. With Microsoft products, you cannot "read the license at your leisure", you are expected to read it before pressing OK. Unless you don't want to know what you "signed"... As EULA's become enforcable in more and more places, I think it is a positive think that developers actually do something to make sure people read the license. Most people would be horrified to learn later what they "agreed to" when they installed a Microsoft product. As for the sound, that was mentioned on the webpage before you downloaded the PRE-ALPHA version, and the latest update actually has some sounds (more to come later). And before you complain about the spelling, you try to write something in perfect romanian, before you complain that a foreigner makes a few spelling mistakes when writing english. | 2003-03-18 23:07:31 | 9400 |

| 9605 | 3552 | news | 6672 | Please..... | Please make a game with robots. I'm tired of Reality creeping into games, reminding me of this life. | 2003-03-19 00:19:50 | 0 |
| 9606 | Eternal Lands | games | -1 | I think you have a problem |
I though when someone codes a program, he has an bojective... what's yours?
Seems you don't want the people to play the game, nor earn money.. so, why the hell have you coded this game? Just to bitch people arround?
I'm not going to try the game. Doesn't matter to me if it's good or not... simply all the whole crap of the license makes is not worth it.
What a pity. | 2003-03-19 02:16:38 | 9117 |

I mean really, who are they to actually think a free game can be poorly constructed or implemented? | 2003-03-19 04:55:12 | 9404 |
