While the disk space it takes up is somewhat regrettable that is merely the state of current commercial games. So, comparing Loki or Activision to MS for CivCTP is just not warranted. It's a fairly faithful reimplementation of CivII with a few new added bells whistles and tweaks. Think of it as Civ 2.3.
