Crack Attack! | games | -1 | Slow! | This game is addictive, but takes waaaay more resources than it should. The exact same game could be done on a Commodore 64 and be faster than on my 1GHz AMD Riva128 machine. It's ridiculous, there's simply no reason to render everything in 3D. | 2003-03-12 17:11:00 | 0
DIE | games | -1 | Re: From the maker of Car Terrain ... | Well, this is neat! Nice to see an arcade game with convincing physics. Even though it's obviously very early in development, it's actually kinda fun right now. Good controls, really nice physics. Who cares about shooting, I enjoyed ramping and driving insanely. :) -Matt Bailey | 2003-03-12 17:30:56 | 9373

FooBillard | games | 7152 | Excellent game! | It's a great game. I apt-get'ed it from Debian. It looks and even sounds real. I mean the computer moving his cue/stick is realistic. In my country we call the game "pool", as billiards is a different game (although played on the same table). The GUI could be a little better, I mean, sthe game starts without a menu, and you have to press ESC to get the menu. The menu system is a little hard to navigate when starting a new game. The controls are not exactly easy to figure immediately. However, it is still a VERY slick professional looking game. I still give it a five star rating, because of realism and gameplay. | 2003-03-12 19:37:16 | 0

DIE | games | 5644 | Very cool :) | The control feels a lot like Halo, major props for that and the physics! I can't wait to see this merged with a terrain engine and network support.. | 2003-03-13 01:38:01 | 0
Epiphany | games | 5205 | Re: Rocks'n'Diamonds | They are hardly comparable, RocksnDiamonds is ages ahead (mostly because it is a port from an existing Amiga version, IIRC, whereas epiphany seems to be from-scratch). | 2003-03-13 06:20:23 | 8464
Advanced Strategic Command | games | -1 | Re: Advanced Strategic Command | You could at least be so kind as to explain *why* you think that. Having your opinion without any basis is rather worthless to 3rd parties -- as we might care about different criteria than regarding which you object. Personally, btw, I think the game kicks ass. | 2003-03-13 07:31:05 | 9453
FCE Ultra | games | -1 | Re: FCE Ultra | Nostalgy could be one reason, and they just don't make games like this anymore(well, not many at least). I grew up with the 8-bit NES so to me it's very cool to play those old classics again. | 2003-03-13 07:49:09 | 9454
