9321 Trackballs games -1 A remarkable game Quite simply, this is a remarkable game, the finest of it's type I have ever played. The mouse-based control system is more than merely intuitive - it is immersive, it give the feeling one really is "pushing" the marble around, which is the whole point. Play this game! 2003-03-07 09:00:37 0

9325 FreeCraft games -1 1.1.8pre2 works lovely I can only say cheers to this game, it's so great. I have an old Warcraft II install on a Win9x machine and I shared it, set the buildtool to the data directory and all was good to go. You'll get a fully functional Warcraft II game using this with the campaigns working better then ever. Even the extentions levels are supported and working. 1.1.8pre1 crashed on the campaign games but this release fixes that. Pro's: - AI is better then ever, ie: you don't need to tell your peasants to work the new mine down the road, they'll go there themselves and your soldiers do more themselves - Small Map Based progress bars, showing the HP of a unit/building and another one for building/upgrading something. You are able to see everything in one look - Hi Res support, ever checked that game @ 1024x768? it looks so darn slick :D Con's: - Not any worth meantioning, simply great game Freecraft makes Warcraft II live again and better then ever, if you have an old release of Warcraft II lying around somewhere and like the game, give it a try, you won't regret it. Next up, StarCraft? ;) Cheers again on this awesome achievement, I salute you freecraft developers, Lawrence 2003-03-07 12:08:34 0

9327 Arkhart games 7328 clarification... just to clarify something about the game/demo, since someone told on irc to some people that arkhart wasnt free. Everything in Arkhart, from the engine to the Worlded and the data, is free, as in speech and beer. we are making a demo to show what the engine can do, and show a bit of Arkhart. but that doesnt mean the full game, when its ready (:) wont be free. it will still be. even if we were evil and decide to change that, a fork could be made :) 2003-03-07 16:58:28 0
9328 OilWar games 6327 That's entertainment? Frankly, this is doing for gaming what REM did for music, Olie Stone did for movies and RMS did for debian. (I think virtual RMS was the last straw for me.) I hate it when anything degenerates to pure politics. I can't rate this game, because I can't bring myself to download, compile and 'play' a political statement. I get enough of that on TV, the radio and the movies.
It was sad when the anti-Bin Laden flash games made the news and it is even sadder when game like this and a political debate gets immortalized in the Game Tome. I would only find relief from the delete button.
This is not entertainment
Edd 2003-03-07 19:40:12 9324
