This game is by far the best game in the Slackware games package. It was a very enjoyable distraction. Contrary to what the review above says, it DOES have sound, and some keen sound at that. You just have to install it properly for the soundserver to work. |

Seems like a nice game. Hmm.. but why should it have a 3D acceleration as it's a 2d sprite game?=))))) |

A great little game. However, it is actually possible to make a correct solution that will not get accepted by the game. I have emailed the author about this, and I hope he corrects it. |

Exellent job! Every day i'll have to check games homesite, if there is a new version. And look of this development speed! 1-3 versions / day, great! :) |

As a convert from Windows and an avid fan of the now-dying game SubSpace, I was blown away by XPilot. This is truly the king of multiplayer games... Well, okay... With my 33.6 modem the lag sucks like heck, but I put up with it. :-)
In response to Kirth's posting here: Graphics don't matter, gameplay is what matters. I'd rather play an ugly game that's fun and has depth, than play a pretty flashy piece of junk. Not to say that pretty and flashy are always junk, it just turns out that way when you focus solely on that. |
