| 9117 | Eternal Lands | games | -1 | Re: Just get a black window | Perhaps, my friend, you have a totally new and different deffinition of the verb "to read". If you can't comply with a SMALL request of mine, which is for your own benefit too, then you are not welcome in our game. Especially that there was specified, in TWO places, that you can not play the game without READING the license. | 2003-02-26 13:31:18 | 9111 |

| 9121 | XBobble | games | 4512 | Re: Yes, you are being too critical... | Hehe, OK, as it's now 7 or so comments, none about the game itself, and I'm the one who started the thread, I decided to try to make up for it by actually trying your game and being first to rate it!
Firstly, some of us are still using gcc 2.95 (or whichever), so requiring 3.0 is a little bit nasty-but that wasnt a problem, as the only version of 1.5 that I could find in the download areas was binary only (and much bigger D/L than the other versions)! Hmm. I'm assuming maybe this was a mistake or something.
The game itself: LOL! Is that you singing? Very funny. And disturbingly catchy! Unfortunately, your README doesn't seem to have much in the way of instructions. I've never actually played Puzzle Bobble myself, so I had to work it out from trial and error (I still don't quite get it), and the keys too. Finally, it seemed a bit like the controls got more and more unresponsive as the game went on. Or maybe it was just consistently slow, I don't know.
But yeah, pretty good for a first game, and one that is still quite new. Keep at it! :) | 2003-02-26 18:49:40 | 9108 |

| 9127 | Abe's Amazing Adventure!! | games | 3722 | Too fast | On my Athlon XP2700+ with GeForce 4 Ti4600 this game runs way too fast. It looks good though. Hopefully the newer version will run a bit slower so I can actually play it. 3 stars for now. | 2003-02-27 02:22:22 | 0 |
