FreeCol games 5515 awesome Status update from project homepage says "The FreeCol project is currently in need of graphics for things such as...". What happened to the Graphics Designer? He was doing a GREAT work, I love freecol graphics. 2003-02-18 16:41:07 0
Trackballs games -1 Re: Control problems I haven't had problems in any other programs/games. It's a Logitech Trackman Marble connected on COM2. 2003-02-18 17:48:23 8943
Trackballs games -1 Re: Control problems I put a couple printf's in to see what the mouse state it was using was, and ran in windowed mode so I could see the output. It worked fine in windowed mode. The disparity between the game resolution and my normal X resolution seems to be the issue, in windowed mode (at the default resolution of 800x600): Preadjusted mouse. x:400 ,y:300 Adjusted mouse. x:0 ,y:0 The mouse coords adjust properly back to 0, but in fullscreen: Preadjusted mouse. x:599 ,y:462 Adjusted mouse. x:199 ,y:162 The coordinates are off from what you would expect with a resolution of 800x600, so the adjusted coords are wrong. An SDL issue, maybe? 2003-02-18 18:17:39 8943
Trackballs games -1 Re: Control problems Ok, so the logical thing to do was add a resolution option for my resolution. could one of the developers add the option for 1280x1024 ? It works and plays great now, fullscreen :) 2003-02-18 18:24:41 8943
Trackballs games -1 Re: Control problems I don't have trouble with the mouse, but I'd rather use the keyboard and avoid killing my wrist. I've noticed that at the beginning of a level, the keyboard control seems to "stick" -- the marble will move slightly in the direction I push, but only slowly, and it stops after a bit. The mouse works fine. Any ideas? This is with the Debian packages from people.debian.org/~erlb. <p> Daniel 2003-02-18 19:21:42 8943

Marble Blast games 6777 Re: well done mostly you can brake the marble while in the air. the jump across the gap is not the hardest thing. the next jump was quite a bit harder (at least for me). Anyway addictive game. I think I'll spend the money. And we have to help every one who makes non fps games for linux. 2003-02-19 09:28:22 8908
Frozen Bubble games 21 Never worked for me. The perl code in this game makes assumptions about what distribution you are running. I find software that does this from time to time. I run Slackware 8.1, I have the exact version of Perl and newer versions of SDL and SDL-Perl. This game has never worked for me. I might eventually sing a different tune, but everytime I download it in never has worked. Other then that it _looks_ great. :) 2003-02-19 10:23:44 0
