| 8754 | Candy Cruncher | games | -1 | Re: Really strange | Darn, I only could get a score of 32k.
Yes, I agree, except perhaps for $15.00 they can include a port to Alpha as well as Sparc, PPC, X86, AND include a nice bag of candy!
1 pack of each kind of candy in the game! Or maybe the weight of it will be too big to ship. The wonka factory would go for a deal like that, no? | 2003-02-09 15:21:52 | 8747 |

| 8758 | T1 Car Racing Simulation | games | 6964 | Re: Compilation error | And have you also installed the PLIB that came with mandrake, or did you get it from some other place? What does "gcc --version" say? | 2003-02-09 16:02:49 | 8757 |
| 8759 | T1 Car Racing Simulation | games | 6964 | 0.1.2a (Vamos support turned off) | Hello to all,

due to problems with compiling Vamos support in T1, I have released a new version introducing another flag for "configure" script: "--have-vamos". At the time being, this flag should not be used. The reason for the new version was to allow you to compile T1 even if you already have Vamos installed on your system. I'm working with Sam on resolving the T1+Vamos compilation problem.

Cheers, alex. | 2003-02-09 16:11:22 | 0 |
| 8760 | T1 Car Racing Simulation | games | 21 | As long as.. | As long as everyone is using these comments as a mailing list.... :) I had a game crash going fast, like 150 while running into a wall. I think I may understand the problem, the car slipped out of the track before the collision was detected? Here is the end output...

ERROR: LeftCollisionDetected == RightCollisionDetected == false!
Input values to CheckWallCollision: x1: 399.374, y1: 318.947, x2: 399.643, y2: 317.9, count: 4
| 2003-02-09 19:17:59 | 0 |

| 8762 | Musical Invaders | games | 7250 | Not compiling with GCC 3.2 | It seems Musical Invaders does not compile with GCC 3.2... More specifically, there is some problem with the pow() function, which can be easily fixed by casting arguments into double. Also, MidiIO does not compile at all. This one is more serious -- if somebody want to help, he/she is welcomed :-)
Musical Invaders and MidiIO compiles under GCC 2.95, and 3.0 is untested.
Guillaume Pratte | 2003-02-09 21:11:39 | 0 |
