| 8713 | Candy Cruncher | games | -1 | This game could be even better if... | Would be better if it had multiplayer mode! Or even better...play in 3D like on a rubix cube.
This game would look awesome on a PDA too: Agenda VR3!
Sadly, I must agree with some people that it is over-priced. Some of us aren't willing to pay $15.00 US for the game although the game is outstanding (and simple). If this game was priced at $5 (shipping not included), everyone with doubts would buy it fast rather than wait for the smaller percentage of people to pay the $15.00. And the point of selling a small game like this would be to have it on all computer platforms:
ARM and StrongARM
MIPS: SGI, NEC
PowerPC, Power3, Power4
X86: i386, Pentium, Athlon
Sparc
PA-RISC
Alpha!
This game warrants improvment in these respects, but there is only so far some developers may want to extend their Research and Development into a game that for some KNOWN reason isn't selling (too high of a price and too few features? Quake2 can be purchased in the bargain bin for $10 today). | 2003-02-08 11:01:22 | 0 |
| 8714 | Cube | games | 7571 | Lots of fun! | My two sons, my friend and I spent quite a while playing this game, after reading its review here. Very impressive, especially for a small, 8 meg package. I hope they keep working on the game. One thing I'd like to see improved: it would be nice to have different models in multiplayer (unless it exists and I don't know how to change it). -Scott | 2003-02-08 12:55:42 | 0 |
| 8715 | Arkhart | games | 21 | Very Nice | I can see as a programmer that although parts of this game seem a little scuffy around the edges, they are temporary. The engine looks very featurful with _lots_ of potential. It renders, unfortunately, exceptionally badly on my radeon 7500. After about 15 seconds it crashes my whole machine! :) Hopefully part of this is just the bad DRI drivers, and probably will improve when X 4.3 comes around.

However, congradualtions to the Arkhart team. You have put in a lot of good work. Keep it up! I will watch this project with keen interest. | 2003-02-08 13:35:49 | 0 |
