8532 Construo games -1 problems compiled on freebsd 4.7, on a 500 mhz box. speed of simulation is not bad, (although it would be nice if it was smooth rather than jerking around depending on how fast the equations are calculated/converge) but there is a huge problem: the interface becomes unresponsive. you cant 'stop' it, you cant turn off 'action camera', and in general clicking on things gives no feedback. this is user interfaces 101 , people. time that unix grew up and learned to behave like a big person 2003-01-31 19:55:42 0
8533 Celestia games -1 slow 533mhz viac3: unplayable. thats how slow this thing is. 2003-01-31 20:06:14 0

8536 Freeciv games -1 New version I like FreeCiv. I haven't played new FreeCiv yet. I only download it. I think then in new FreeCiv is many new codes and many new bugs. I have read news: people is angry, no "start" technologies, ... I am waiting for v2.0 to play with AI on diplomacy level. Download it and play!!! 2003-02-01 00:29:04 0
8537 SARace games -1 Re: promising Ok, I'll add some explainations for the keybinding :) What's your page ? (I'ld like to see your projects, maybe we can help mutually) Cu, fab. 2003-02-01 03:32:43 8516
8538 3391 news 5795 Nothing new
It doesn't make sense to post news telling that there is nothing new. There are a lot of projects that are at same state - under development, no releases, nothing new - but nothing is ever mentioned about them. Why is NWN so special? Would you put news on my game - under development, nothing new - into this site?

Be honest to yourselves and to the rest of us. Either treat all projects equally or at least tell us why are you doing this. This comment is not a troll.
2003-02-01 04:49:37 0
8539 Cube games -1 Re: Linux + Cube Same thing here on Voodoo3 with drivers and Mesa from XFree86 4.2.99.4 (20030129). The text and the water is just white spaces. Looks horrible, I think it has to do something with card's/driver's capabilities, which the game doesn't try to detect. 2003-02-01 05:36:36 7440
8540 3391 news -1 Re: Nothing new here here! There will probebly be a NWN2 by the time this client is done... and we'll have to sit and read "newsflashes" from Bioware on how they are fixing bugs and the client will be done soon... If there is any of you out there still holding your breath for this one...time to gasp for air... 2003-02-01 06:29:17 8538
8541 Cube games -1 Re: Linux + Cube Oh, I know now. It's the texture size being the problem here. GLX/DRI Mesa doesn't resize textures to 256x256 pixels (that's the maximum texture size for Voodoos up to Voodoo3). It's easy to resize (scale) data/newchars.png to 256x265 with the Gimp. Also I scaled packages/models/monster/hellpig/skin.jpg and packages/golgotha/water2.jpg. The water looks really pretty and I at last I can see through it! I'll mail author about it. 2003-02-01 07:49:36 8539
