| 8381 | Spacelife | games | 7448 | Re: Promising | I hate to disappoint you, but I think it may take a while before any new version are going to be released. I've been so incredibly busy with other projects, work, school and family problems lately, that I can't really put in the time to work on Spacelife at the moment.

I actually didn't count on somebody submitting it to happypenguin.org, and was quite surprised at finding my own game here, while I was checking to see if any nice new space games had popped up lately. :)

I've asked around if anybody was interested in picking up developement where I left off, but wasn't succesful. I hope I'll find some time in the future to start working on it again, because the whole concept of space trading stuff really appeals to me.

Greets,
Ferry | 2003-01-21 16:25:33 | 8248 |
| 8382 | TPE | games | -1 | Terminus | Madly addictive and massivly multifaceted. The platform has been optimized so even modem play is smoothed out over it's earlier incarnations and a few other nice enhancements have been made. | 2003-01-21 17:43:19 | 0 |

| 8384 | Cube | games | 6651 | Looking great! Very DOOM'ish - Fun! | I tried this game about a year ago but it segfaulted and wouldn't run. No I just tried it again and had excellent success with my Debian Woody system (PII-450/GeForce2MX). It runs great and looks great. I tried out a few levels and messed with the editor and was very impressed. This is a cool little FPS game, considering how lightweight it is. Well worth a download to see if it works for you. I give it five stars since its probably the best/only free FPS game I've yet seen so far. | 2003-01-21 17:48:33 | 0 |

| 8388 | Pygame | games | -1 | install problem | I am trying to install pygame under redhat 8.0 (using the rpm's) but it keeps saying that I need to install libvorbisfile.so.0 I tried to download this and tried to install. But then I get the message that a newer version has already been installed. Does anyone here know what RPM I should download where and/or how I can solve this problem? | 2003-01-22 02:42:12 | 0 |
| 8389 | Freeciv | games | -1 | Re: Criticisms != Insults | thanks for the critisism, now could you elaborate a bit ? Saying "there are a lot of things that could be better" and not explain what and how is a bit light IMHO. | 2003-01-22 09:15:29 | 7904 |
| 8390 | SuperTux | games | 679 | Re: mmm | Wow... how long was that update sitting in the queue? I've been busy working on Tux Paint for the last 7 months! As for '2 years of development' on Super Tux... you'd better check the ChangeLog. :^) Unfortunately, I have barely worked on it since the first release 2 years ago. :^( Full time job, wedding and other projects have been quite distracting, sorry! | 2003-01-22 11:53:08 | 8358 |
