8254 Pizza Business games -1 Re: Games that try to teach economics Jolly good show, NilFilter. I illegally emplore you to censor my post. Who am I to illegaly emplore those which are not within my regulation? That is the question. You are the administrator, I am the client; you regulate the comments. I enjoy your jack-booted follies as they contribute to the overall kindness and character of the freedomphille gaming participants. NilFilter is great! There is only one NilFilter and bobz is his co-worker! Praise be to happypenguin.org! I want pie in my face! Throw it! Throw it!

/everyone burries this AC troll under piles of pie. 8255 Pizza Business games -1 Re: Games that try to teach economics While we can get into a "but I know someone" or "my friend said xyz" competition and see who believes us, I also know someone who owns a pizza place. They pull in a HELL of a lot more than $300 a day (unless you mean profit in which case I dont know the exact figures there) but is probably well over $2000. However, he is across from a university and its also a small restaurant. But the first day they were open, the place was packed.
I know some small mom-and-pop places in strip malls don't do good, and never have. I know of a number of those small pizza places in strip malls that go out of buisness even when the economy is good. In my opinion, I'd never open up one in those locations. I'd open up a restaurant along with it -- all in the same place of cource and I'd serve at least 3.2 beer or maybe some harder beer if I could get a license for it.
Well, enough of this rant since this a forum for games, not small restaurants and economics. 2003-01-15 23:44:24 8246

8260 Senken games 21 Compilation Fix HERE Very nice game but I had some compilation errors. Simply remove all occurences of -Werror in the makefiles. These errors are actually warnings, with a gcc option to generate errors on warnings. Worked out for me... 2003-01-16 08:19:54 0
8261 Pizza Business games 3 Re: Games that try to teach economics Well, I have to admit I'm reasonably befuddled. I have no clue what you're up to but can't help acknowledging your well-written troll message. Hat up. 2003-01-16 09:07:21 8254

8263 Tower Toppler games -1 Whoever made this game... Whoever made this game is a better troll than me!

Nice graphics, fun gamplay, wow! All I can offer is ... trolling expertise, yet... Sure, I can troll NilFilter and bobz to jack-boot my posts into oblivion, and this mere game trolled more responses than even I can troll in three days!

/me thinks of making a troll...I propose my game to be "Monty Troll and the quest for the hot grits!" Or maybe somthing more original, such as... "Tux: a quest for ... new-england clam chowder!" 2003-01-16 10:38:43 0
