8103 KartingRace games -1 Re: WHERE'S THE BANNANAS??!! fmod is yet another api in the forrst of happyland.

KartRacer uses fmod because they KarRacer programmers were too lazy to make their software self-sufficient. They are dependent on other software.
The bigger question is...why don't programmers get a clue to create "hooks" into their code to optionally use an external api that is not-so mission critical.
I've compiled some opensource shit that requires 10+ packages and issuing an `ldd ` on an application dumps me a list of library dependancies a mile long.

It's about fscking time GNU creates a support mechanism for hybrid dynamic+static binaries, but that would be too masochist because the size of the software we download we be huge. 2003-01-08 20:05:50 8097
8104 KartingRace games 3 Woohoo! What can I say? It looks great, sounds cool, the controls are smooth, and it's just good fun.
KartingRace definitely deserves 5 stars once TCP/IP network playing is implemented, and hey it's on the author's to-do list. 2003-01-08 20:29:44 0
