7981 PoopMUp games 6962 Re: Can't compile [One of the coders]

For faster response please subscirbe to the mailling list.

As for your questions:
-Make shure that you have glut installed. (To make shure, go to /usr/include/GL if you see a glut.h file chances are that it is installed).
-There is usually a poopmup.o file within the destribution. if there is one then execute it: ./poopmup.o
-if there is no poopmup.o file then do a 'make' this should compile to source code and create a ./poopmup.o .

The reason that it is a .o file is historical (a big word, it means lazy, and never bothered changing). There used to be a folder called 'poopmup' and hence a name clash. If you don't like the .o extention, send a msg to the mailling list and I will change the make file. 2003-01-02 14:31:07 7941

7985 Enigma games 6823 hmm but.. ok the game is nice and the graphics too.
It looks stable but i think it's just too stressing. I love puzzle games and i solved at least half of the available levels but my arm is almost gone! can't use the mouse so intensively in a puzzle game imho... 2003-01-02 18:30:50 0
7986 Gnocatan games 4553 Re: noooooooo! Hm. Check for:
1. Having gtk/gnome 1.x (though you can be running 2.x and just have the 1.x libs handy)
2. Having the -devel libs installed (gtk-devel, gnome-devel, glib-devel, etc)
3. If you have a fairly new autoconf, etc, such as those in RH 8, do a cvs pull:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gnocatan login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gnocatan co gnocatan
2003-01-02 20:18:55 6157

7989 iMaze games -1 Midi-Maze! Hurray!! Any old Atari ST gamer will immediatelly recognize that this is a (graphically enhanced) conversion of Midi-Maze, the first ever multiplayer, networked deathmatch 3d shooter ever to grace a computer screen (don't remember release date but it was somewhere between -85 and -87). I spent MANY nights playing this with my friends, having our computers hooked up with midi-cables. It was sooo fun! :) I will definitelly download this, if for nothing else, then for the nostalgic value. 2003-01-03 04:11:18 0
