7581 Trophy games 2391 My impression I have great fun playing Trophy ( 1.0.6 for debian), and I can warmly recommend the game. When you start playing it it is very difficult, but then you find the boost button "a", and suddenly it becomes playable (and good fun). The game would gain a lot if the menus were changed because they are somewhat annoying, and of course a multiplayer version with ggz interface would be really great :)
The AI is very nice. If you produce a new map (using gimp) then you can plot in the shortest route.. This results in a playable map with a nice AI. The only problem is that you cannot tell the AI not to use the boost button close to a corner. If you could advice AI cars a about boost, then they might become much better. 2002-12-04 11:15:36 0
7582 3167 news -1 patent? Uhm, why? Why do you need to patent it? Why not let other ppl use your idea? 2002-12-04 12:03:26 0
7583 3167 news 8 Re: patent? because they patent it and then we are the bad guys which broke the license :) 2002-12-04 12:13:37 7582
7584 SimGear games -1 Re: 0.3.0 release is broken Thank goodness, I'm NOT going crazy!
Also, any kind of docs or examples look pretty much nonexistant, which is a shame, because I'd kinda like to play with this. 2002-12-04 12:22:07 7570
7585 3167 news -1 Re: patent? Dear Anonymous, Calm down, IT'S A JOKE!!!!
He is making a statement about the absurdity of software patents, not seriously suggesting it. 2002-12-04 12:46:45 7582
