7459 Construo games -1 Nice toy And the code is excellent too. I've had this running for days, and every now and then when I get an idea I try it out immediately :-).<p> And yes, more features, pretty please :-). Capability to connect springs into the middle of another spring. Objects that cannot be penetrated with wire. Capability to adjust individual parameters of springs. Zoom. Save/load (I suspect this is in already, I didn't look that much). A macro language (yes, lisp is fine, there seems to be some code for it). Concept of object (grouping of lines / other objects). Capability to store and load objects. Colors, texture mapping for new object types. Sounds (I want to hear the constructions crashing..). Backdrop graphics. Active elements. <p> Put those to your TODO and you'll be set for years :-). <p> I noticed that the performance was nice with G400, but with Matrox Millenium it was abysmal. Also on an Indigo2 (SGI) Xsgi just took 90% cpu, the game was -really- slow (I never managed to draw a line). Couldn't figure it out.. <p> 2002-11-26 14:01:59 0
7460 Construo games 506 Re: i like the idea but... You can recover almost all failures with undo/redo. There is a single bug in 0.1.0 which will corrupt constructions (already fixed in CVS[1]), but even that will 'only' trash the springs, the particle positions should stay intact. If you can find anything still wrong in CVS, I could fix it before the next release. [1] http://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=construo 2002-11-26 17:08:40 7455

7464 GPL Arcade Volleyball games 6314 Re: Same problem If you go to the site's Links section then you'll find the link to the project's SourceForge page where you can download the latest version (in the Files section). <br><br> The game itself is pretty well done. It doesn't work <i>exactly</i> the same as the original but it's very close. Once the extra features are implemented it'll be worth 5 stars. 2002-11-27 01:22:38 7462

7468 GPL Arcade Volleyball games 6835 Help and suggestions welcome. Hi all, and thanks for trying to download. We know it does not work exactly as the original, and we are looking forward for any "correction" to make it closer to it. So if anyone has suggestions, please mail us, or leave a message in Sourceforge, or so: that'll be very useful. So far we are aware that the net rebounds do not work as in the original, and we are aware of at least one bug that prevents the proper assignment of a point in certain sircumstances. The themes are actually in place already, just disabled. We do have a southpark theme, but we have not included it for copyright reasons. More than one player per side is there as well, only disabled until better control handling (key redefinition etc.) is developed. Moreover, the AI is pretty lame. 2002-11-27 06:02:45 0
