3D Pong games 924 3D Pong This game is cool. I really like vector graphics 3d games, because they are fast and fun to play even on my ancient system. Would have given it 5 stars if it'd had the kind of networking support us dialup users need (remote X displays are a little slow over 33.6) 1999-06-08 00:15:10 0
3D Pong games 1679 3D Pong While this is not quite Quake3 quality here, it did give me an excuse to bust out my old 3-D glasses. If you can rustle up a pair this game is relitively entertaining. Also, if you do give this game a try, be sure to enable sound. If you are having trouble compiling the game, make sure you have modified the dependancy line for the X11 library to tell the compiler where to find it. If you need help, email pinkham.checkspam@monmouth.com (minus the checkspam). 1999-06-08 02:01:25 0
Quake 2 games 1679 Quake 2 Great game. Has an awesome graphics engine (Really cool w/ a supported 3d card) and plenty of "Mods" (basicaly different game rules and sometimes weapons using the same engine. Digital Paint, a paintball mod is my fav right now) so that you will never get bored w/ it. Recently became the first Linux game released in physical stores (CompUSA has had it for a few weeks). 1999-06-08 02:08:02 0
Quadra games 971 Quadra Hmm. No Debian package, only RedHat...well, no problem..I'll just get the source and Debianize it. Oh. Wait. Not worth my time at the moment to install this. Sorry folks. It looks like a cute game, maybe I can play it someday? 1999-06-08 20:16:14 0
BZFlag games -1 BZFlag Nice game.. BUT I need to figure out how to get it to work from behind my firewall.. 1999-06-09 00:34:11 0
Nighthawk games -1 Nighthawk Urbanoids, also inspired by Paradroid (and written in Java) is a far better game... unfortunetely, it's sometimes a little picky about what browsers it gets along with (it uses javascript and frames for layout, and so must be played in a browser). http://www.tdb.uu.se/~karl/java/noids/ 1999-06-09 02:26:59 0
XBlast games 1690 XBlast Great Game! Now this one really makes addicted. It'd be nice, if the ressources would work, though 1999-06-09 13:31:24 0
xrot games -1 xrot the window is really to small otherwise it would be more fun to play this game 1999-06-09 16:17:21 0
Civilization: Call To Power games -1 Civilization: Call T Very, very addictive, and a good Linux port. Those who want the source should also look at FreeCiv. As a commercial game, though, this is wonderful. 1999-06-09 19:01:30 0
Civilization: Call To Power games -1 Civilization: Call T Solidly enjoyable, and mostly bug free. Some of the UI is difficult to get used to (coming from the older Civ's), but it is definitely worth the money for me. 1999-06-10 01:07:31 0
