6303 4 2006-02-15 01:56:37 A couple of games feature new development versions, betas or release candidates that I don't want to withhold from you: <p> <a href="http://happypenguin.org/show?Battle%20for%20Wesnoth">Battle for Wesnoth</a> has reached the development release 1.1.1. Besides new graphics it features a new campaign and lots of miscellaneous updates. <p> <a href="http://happypenguin.org/show?Armagetron%20Advanced">Armagetron Advanced</a> is nearing the 2.8.0 version with release candidate 3 already out. The major new feature are arenas of arbitrary shape and the introduction of a new game mode where you have to conquer the enemies base. <p> There is a CVS snapshot available for <a href="http://happypenguin.org/show?FreeLords">FreeLords</a> showcasing some smaller improvements and background music as a new feature. <p> The first Linux beta of the next patch for <a href="http://happypenguin.org/show?Neverwinter%20Nights%20Client">Neverwinter Nights</a> is available (for english versions only so far).
