| 6707 | Tux Racer | games | 5401 | Re: source? | Heh, that would be the source for version 0.61, before they commercialized it:
http://tuxracer.sourceforge.net

And as I can see that someone already replied, the Openracer project is a continuation of that source:
http://www.worldforge.org/dev/systems/OpenRacer/ | 2002-09-24 08:33:37 | 6704 |
| 6708 | Tux Racer | games | 5401 | Re: source? | Oh, and just so you all know, the commercial version really _is_ much better than the opensource one. It is absolutely worth the price!
Go support Sunspire Studios by buying it now! :-)

All I miss now is the level editor for Tuxracer 1.1.1... They did promise to release it once it was polished for the public. I hope that this recent show of a little activity from SS will lead to the release of it. I'm an optimistic person after all :-) | 2002-09-24 08:44:00 | 6707 |
| 6709 | Openglad | games | -1 | Keybindings, arrgh! | Is there any way to change the key bindings in this game? I don't have a numeric keypad on my laptop and it's basically unplayable. | 2002-09-24 16:12:25 | 0 |
| 6710 | Cars | games | 4987 | what an absurd little game | It's cool | 2002-09-24 18:18:52 | 0 |
| 6711 | Openglad | games | 6319 | Re: Keybindings, arrgh! | Yup. Go to the options menu (* on the keypad, 2, 4, and 8 for players 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively) and hit "K" to change your keyprefs. | 2002-09-24 23:27:56 | 6709 |
| 6712 | TUA | games | -1 | hehehe | it very easy to reach 4 stars if all the ratings are from the author of the game :). why don't you let the people rate it? this is not the way to make it dude hehe | 2002-09-25 00:34:12 | 0 |
| 6716 | ggelite | games | -1 | Re: How do I fix this? | The binary version is not stable. I tried to statically link all the library (except openGL) into one big binary. But I didn't realize that GNUstep-base expects a lot of resource files. | 2002-09-25 07:36:04 | 6107 |
| 6717 | Pachi el marciano | games | 5205 | Absolutely fabulous | Hey, this is not only exact the type of little platform games that I absolutely love (I started my 'career with Bounty Bob...), it's also one of the nicest I've seen for quite some time: Great graphics, funny stereo music -- it's really hard to shut it down and go to work again :-))
Pit | 2002-09-25 12:04:42 | 0 |
| 6719 | TUA | games | 506 | not good, but not really bad either | Well, the gfx doesn't look really good and I don't really like games with evil Bill. Its also quite a bit to fast, which makes it close to unplayable. But I kind of like the "hold-your-breath, eat fish" idea, makes it quite a bit different from the classic nibbles game. Making the water animated, replacing the ugly sprites with something beatifull, replacing evil-Bill by an Orca, adding levels with some structures in it and this could become a 4 stars game. | 2002-09-25 12:36:52 | 0 |
