It should compile and run under any system with a C compiler (preferably one that implements the C99 standard, such as recent versions of GCC), and the latest 1.2.x version of the SDL library installed. On Linux the emulator can also use ALSA for improved performance and sound latency. ep128emu implements all the basic functionality of an Enterprise 128, such as the Z80 CPU (all documented and many undocumented opcodes are supported), NICK chip, DAVE (there is very good sound emulation in recent releases), keyboard, disk, and tape.
