6468 Glaxium games -1 never works There's always something in every version that prevents it from compiling or not segfaulting. 2002-08-30 22:05:37 0
6469 Glaxium games 3 Re: never works You might need a new "glext.h" wich you can get here.

Your current version might be located in in /usr/include/GL or in /usr/X11R6/include/GL, replace it with the new version.
In case "make install" won't work, use the executable created by "make".
I got this tip from the author. Other 3D games still work fine after replacing "glext.h". 2002-08-30 22:27:18 6468
6470 2859 news -1 Mathematical optimization For those of you who are into math and bridges. Have a look at the following java applet that does topological optimisation. It is good fun (but it is not a game) http://www.topopt.dtu.dk 2002-08-31 00:33:00 0
6474 2866 news 2391 Trophy tracks for a future contest? Trophy has a very nice manual telling how to design a track for the game. Perhaps that could be the topic of a future contest. Perhaps such a contest could encourage the programmer to make a mulitiplayer version. Maybe we should vote for the topic of the next contest :) 2002-09-01 01:25:09 0
6475 2866 news 3 Re: Trophy tracks for a future contest? Hmmm, good idea.
Then again, the feedback for this theming contest wasn't quite as expected (in terms of quantity) eventhough the author had prepared a very nice theming how-to, and the task wasn't too difficult.
I had a quick glance at Trophy's designer manual. Designing a Trophy track is more complicated than writing a LB2 theme, and I'm afraid there might be even fewer participants.
Perhaps we will collect some potential tasks for future contests and have people vote for them in a poll. 2002-09-01 03:42:49 6474
