The author assumes "const" or "static" automagically defines a variable as "int", though it doesn't (there is about 4 or so times where a variable named "t" is not given a type except "static" or "const"), and "make" aborts. Some variables are typos or "const" is ommited in several places. Sadly, there are other logic/syntax errors in compiling the program from source. Seems like someone was in a rush to put this on the site without even TESTING! After all these problems it finally compiled. I tried running xsnooker and it said that I need to specify what game to play!! It's pretty idiotic to symlink a to a binary without either checking the application name (and thus mraking it as an argument to specify what game to play) or using scripts that specify it. Then it complained about not enough colors. So 16 megs in 24bit isnt enough? I use GDM, and I need a good amount of colors, it's not an option to use 8bit, since I don't use "xinit" or "startx" to run X. Hmph! Can't get it working. | 2002-08-03 02:47:42 | 0 |
