Even so I have to say that the current version is still pretty buggy (segfaults, out-of-track things, instruments don't scale with the resolution, etc.). The vehicle physic feels like what you would expect from a car simulator, even so I found it a little bit to easy to get the car out of controll. GFX are not superior, but do the job done, same for the sound effects. My biggest problem currently is the framerate, which is ~7fps in 640x480 on a 1GHz Athlon with MatroxG450, which makes it pretty much unplayable, switching to 320x200 fixes the speed, but makes most of the menu unreadable. No idea why its thats slow. Only 4 Stars for now, since it looks very much like a 'under development' game and not like a finished one. | 2002-07-13 15:39:19 | 0 |
