Get the Freespace 2 Demo, unzip it (it's a self-extracting zip, so unzip will work fine) and put all the .vp files in the same directory as the freespace2 executable. Run it and away you go. <p>Small tip - have two copies of the freespace2 executable - I have freespace2-debug and freespace2-fast. The later is recompiled with -O2 and no debugging info to make it go faster.
