| 5875 | Triptych | games | -1 | Great game | Without doubt the BEST tetris-like game I've ever played. Great physics, good clear overall design (can be improved), just decent sound. State-of-art playability, fun, fun, fun. Runs almost decently on my K6-2 350, maybe the physics routines should be optimized a bit... as soon as I've 20 blocks or more on the screen FPS starts dropping... I think 15$ is too much for this (little) game, but indeed is an excellent work. I would pay that price if I also would get multiplayer (at least 2 on the same machine, this is REALLY a must) and better framerates. | 2002-06-28 12:50:33 | 0 |
| 5876 | Neverwinter Nights Dedicated Server | games | 4 | Re: point? | Just don't provide Linux servers until the promised binaries are there.
If the Linux users aren't important enough by numbers, then why do they provide a Linux dedicated server? Exactly, they take the Linux servers to sell more windows clients but don't give anything back to the Linux users.
If you look straight at it, it isn't something they give to us, when they release a Linux dedicated server, but it's something the Linux users give to them.
So I say: Don't give if we don't get as well. | 2002-06-28 13:02:57 | 5871 |
| 5877 | Neverwinter Nights Dedicated Server | games | 4512 | I wasn't going to buy this, but | Hooray!
We can pay good money to use up our bandwidth letting other people play, whilst we sit and twiddle our thumbs! This is what I have been waiting for for a long time. No, really!
I suppose perhaps the actual Linux game client may turn out not to be vapourware (it hasn't come out whilst I wasn't looking, has it??), but I don't expect to be shelling out for it either way. | 2002-06-28 19:32:23 | 0 |

| 5880 | FreeCraft | games | -1 | Re: FreeCraft | Well, it works for me, but can't save a game in progress, and some menu options arent' available...as of 1.17. I'll try a more recent release eventually | 2002-06-28 20:21:46 | 3613 |
| 5881 | FreeDroid | games | 1923 | I'm speechless! | Wow, it's unbelievable how greatly you improved that game in less than two months! Especially the new theme looks just marvelous. Seems like I finally have to buy myself a new PC, about 15 fps isn't enough to appreciate the game as much as it deserves. | 2002-06-29 08:22:26 | 0 |
| 5882 | FreeCraft | games | -1 | freecraft | it's much improved over previous versions and it's fun.. but it crashes about once or twice on each level for me.. saving and loading games also seems sort of flaky. i didnt compile from the sources. i just used the precompiled linux binary. | 2002-06-29 12:18:39 | 0 |

| 5886 | Triptych | games | -1 | Re: A must try! | You can change the res and run full screen by running the "hwconfig" program. I just purchased the registered version, this is an excellent new twist on the tetris theme, hugely addictive. Give me more! :) | 2002-06-29 14:36:42 | 5870 |
