550 2 1999-08-08 11:58:40 Thanks to Doug DeJulio for pointing out that BioWare, creators of the very popular Baldur's Gate RPG (on Another OS), are developing their next title, Neverwinter Nights simulaneously for Linux, MacOS, and Windows. Hopefully this is the start of a trend toward simultaneous multiplatform releases. Mr. DeJulio also sent a link to a good article with lots more detail about the game at Mac Central. Neverwinter Nights default
551 2 1999-08-08 12:20:07 I'm taking a break from my death march long enough to bring you this handful of miscellaneous goodies. See how much I love you?

Loki has set up a news server at news.lokigames.com, with newsgroups for annoucements and each of their current ports.
The Clone Graphics Project has put out another semi-playable prerelease. Soon you won't need a WarCraft II CD to play CLONE any more.
In the latest print issue of PC Gamer, columnist Michael Luton takes his first look at Linux as a gaming platform. He interviews Monolith's Jeremy Blackman about his (still not released) Linux port of the Lithtech Engine, and laments the lack of games for this platform. Why is it that free game software for Linux always slips past mainstream journalists' radar? Anyway, next month he's going to set up his own Linux box and tell us "which games work."
Linux.com is running a brief interview with Linux Quake stud Dave 'zoid' Kirsch. Nothing new there.
Assorted interesting tidbits default
