2D scrolling platform game based on Duke Nukem |
<p>This game is similar to Duke Nukem.
<p>
Most the basic functionality is in now; you can walk, jump around, collect stuff, open doors with keys, shoot monsters etc. You can download it, try run it, have a look at the source etc, but don't expect to play a proper game or anything. There is also a level editor. |

day of the tentacle 2 |
The adventure game of all adventure games is back, because 'Day of the Tentacle' enters the ring a second time!
TRAM (The Retro Adventure Makers) have made it their goal to create this game
as real fan-adventure which is not for commercial purposes.
The story begins when the predecessor 'Day of the Tentacle' (short: DOTT) ended:
Purple Tentacle is back and once again tries to take over the world.
Dr. Fred calls our Pseudo-Heroes for help. If they can stop purple tentacle and save the world,
they will do it with your help, there again, the world's destiny lies in your hand.
Control the characters just like in the good old 2D-Adventure-Times using the Mouse and a SCUMM-like interface. You'll encounter a load of puzzles and gags and not only will you meet friends but also guests that'd usually stir up trouble in other games. All fans can be sure of new sceneries and characters.
With Dott2 we hope to create a grand sequel to DOTT. |

Avoid the trees and shoot the bad guys ahead of you. |
Deathchase 3D is a remake of the Spectrum game of the same name, which is itself based on the sequence in "Return of the Jedi" chasing Stormtroopers through the forests of Endor on light-speeders. It's a fake perspective 3D game: avoid the trees and shoot the bad guys ahead of you. It uses the SDL library. It is written for Linux but should run on anything SDL supports. |

A 3D multi-player network game involving Cars, Pickups and a bit of mayhem |
<a href="http://dtt.spinet.org" target='_blank'>DeathTruckTion v1.0</a> is a multiplayer 3D network game put together by TNTeam.<br>

BTW, my school project is finished... it's a "crappy" 3D game using OpenGL, SDL (and of course <a href='http://www.savagesoftware.com.au/DelphiGamer/JEDI-SDL' target='_blank'>JEDI-SDL</a> with Delphi and Kylix :-), FMod and Indy (network components for server and client), which works great under Windows and
Linux. The game itself is not interesting, but maybe the source is :).
I have no idea about the license, because I am using graphics from other
games which is not quite legal anyway. Since I didn't figure out how to
upload the (source) file to the yahoogroup thingy, I _temporarily_ uploaded it <a href='dodownload.php?link=ftp://mystic.dnsalias.org/pub/DTTsrc.zip&ID=102' target='_blank'>here</a>.<br>
Basically you can do whatever you want with the code... but I don't
think it's a good demo for JEDI-SDL, it may be a little bit too complex
for a demo :). Anyway, if you
find something interesting in it you are free to use it in your own
projects, or release some part like you want.
For those who are trying to do some 3D with Delphi/OpenGL, the
TNT-3D engine might be interesting... but it's completely undocumented.
If someone wants to write a tutorial about it or something like that I
will explain the inner working of the engine :)</b>
</blockquote>
Clem does not have any time to continue developing the game and engine so I suggested he create a SourceForge account so that others who may be interested can develop the game, engine change the textures etc further.
The current homepage of the TNTeam and it's demo can be found @
<a href='http://dtt.spinet.org' target='_blank'>http://dtt.spinet.org</a> and you can cop a look at some screen shots @
<a href='http://deathtrucktion.spinet.org/screenshots.php' target='_blank'>http://deathtrucktion.spinet.org/screenshots.php</a>.<br> <br>
If anyone finds this interesting or would like to lead such a project, please let <a href='mailto:savage@delphigamer.com'>me</a> know so we can set up a project of sorts for people to get
involved in.<br>
BTW. If you are going to play with the demo make sure there is a game server running (either locally or at your friends house) before trying to connect with the game client. |

A funny arcade in which you have to kill peppers using the logo of Debian. |
<p>Debian vs Pimientos is an arcade game developed using the SDL libraries SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer, and SDL_ttf. This permits the portability of the game to some systems and machines.<br>
It is the first game of NEOPONTEC Games, and the first to use the NGT Toolkit, developed by Hector Blanco (me) which uses the mentioned SDL Libraries.</p>
<p>The game concept is very easy to understand and to play. There are a lot of peppers (pimientos is the spanish word for peppers) that are flying by the sky, and you, armed with the Debian logo must fight them. The Debian logo shoots GNU heads to kill these devil pimientos :D.</p>
<p>That's all. Fly and kill these horrible peppers!!!</p> |
