| 5589 | Core Wars | games | -1 | Re: Core Wars | I really think that some people are living way too much in a Microsoft induced VB programming cornocopia. Redcode is not Assembly code, the modulus memory structure lack of registers and ports makes it much more of low level warrior language. Besides Assembler is not difficult and Redcode is even easier. Beating the opponents on <A HREF=http://www.koth.org>KOTH</A> is difficult. | 2002-06-01 07:30:24 | 2292 |

| 5591 | Core Wars | games | -1 | Re: core wars | There are some real dunces out there. Maybe you should go back to programming VB script, or maybe (and quite probably) Visual Basic. If you don't get it why express it so vocally? It's like as soon as some people get on the net they get hit with the idiot stick. Is this a side effect of universal net access, that demented idiots get access? | 2002-06-01 07:33:35 | 4802 |

| 5597 | Star Voyager | games | -1 | Re: Star Voyager | Heh. Lets see. 1. you can capture any ship you can damage so severly that any shot you make goes straight to the hull. Simply hail a very damaged ship, and it will ask if you want to capture it. In addition, you can collect several ships that youve conquered and have them follow you arround. You get money by killing things, duh. Klingons can not shoot and stay cloaked, trust me, ive tried. It may SEEM your still cloaked, but if you watch long enough youll notice the whole cloak fall away. Also, once youve played a bit, the controls are easy to handle, and very intuitive. I can even fly around and commit combat in hyperspace (do not try this at home) in very very very very rare occasions. Usually im moving too fast for my torps to kill things.... | 2002-06-01 23:44:48 | 4285 |
