5168 506 2005-01-05 16:22:34 After a long and revigorating discussion about the future of the Help Wanted project (formerly known as GotM) and the mixed outcome of the TuxKart/SuperTuxKart run, a new game is being picked up for its round of improvements, bug fixes and cleanup.
This time its Lincity, a city simulation game in a very classical way. Its interface and graphics are a little aged, so this is one of the main area that will get improved. Some lengthy discussions about Lincity have been done here and here, and there is a new thread here which you can use for additional questions and comments.
To keep things organized there is a Lincity Wiki which welcomes your ideas, comments and additions. At irc.freenode.net we have a IRC channel for Lincity, called #lincity, where people interested in helping out with Lincity should join.
Help us make Lincity become a better game and join the effort. So far we have some graphic artists, but are still in urgent need for additional coders, especially ones with some OpenGL experience. Veteran players of Lincity are also very welcome to spread their wisdom of the deep secrets of the game. HappyPenguin's Help Wanted: Lincity default

There are some power-ups to aid you in your honorable quest. Formido 1.0 new Formido
