XKobo games -1 Re: Ack, won't compile!? Assuming you unpacked XKobo in ~/xkobo-1.11 you have to do the following:<br> <br> cp xkobo.patch ~/xkobo-1.11<br> cd ~/xkobo-1.11<br> patch < xkobo.patch<br> <br> and then continue with<br> <br> xmkmf -a<br> make xkobo 2002-05-14 11:17:00 5424
Strike Force for Unreal Tournament games -1 sorry but this isn't a CS ripoff.. Play the game, it's a great game that i've played for nearly 2 years. If you're sick of CS play SF. 2002-05-14 12:46:56 0
Anoraks of Doom games -1 I don't know this game... ... but the guy obviously had the right attitude. Still groundbreaking! 2002-05-14 18:00:27 0
Euchre games -1 AI i have a question for the creator of this game if he/she reads this...whats ur algorithm for the computer intelligence, i need to write one for school, if u can help it would be great thanks 2002-05-15 12:09:21 0
Fly games 4512 Early days Gave me compilation problems, but that's probably Utah-GLX's fault (it's very broken). Also refers to certain files describing the keys, and how to create levels, but I couldn't find these (or did I miss something?) <P>There's also an annoyance that when you press return (which you have to do to restart when you die), you start again on a newly generated level, so if you want to play one of the included levels (there's only one...) you have to quit and restart each time you die .... <P>Having said all that, it is pretty neat, and has quite a bit of promise. I'll be interested to see how it progresses, and its at least worth a look for the moment. I'd give it a higher rating if it improves later. 2002-05-15 13:37:57 0
Iter Vehemens Ad Necem games 4512 Assembler errors, gah :P gccblit.s: Assembler messages:<BR> gccblit.s:99: Error: suffix or operands invalid for `pusha'<BR> gcc: Internal compiler error: program as got fatal signal 11<BR> make[2]: *** [gccblit.o] Error 1<BR> <P>Well, I can't rate it if I can't compile it. Is it even appropriate for a supposedly cross-platform game like this to be using bits of assembler? I can understand it in old dos-only games, or anything that puts big demands on a machine (like MPlayer program does), but with a roguelike? Hmm. <P>Not really knowing assembler, I'm not even going to <I>try</I> doing anything to make this work myself. 2002-05-15 14:11:25 0

Enigma games -1 "original" OXYD I just surfed to the "original" OXYD homepage (http://www.dongleware.de) to find out that the developer stopped shipping OXYD a few months ago. There will be no longer support for the game. But maybe one can get the original level maps??? 2002-05-16 02:16:43 0
Chromium B.S.U. games -1 music has some bumps with ALSA Great game, but on my computer at least, the sound has a little trouble working with ALSA sound drivers (needed for full duplex to work on my card). It seems to skiip and pop a bit. It works fine with the OSS/Free drivers though. 2002-05-16 03:30:19 0
Kingpin Client games -1 No X support I can't believe that this game isn't supported in X. That really sucks because I'm not too familiar with the bash shell. 2002-05-16 04:24:40 0
