| 4978 | 3 | 2004-11-05 02:44:56 | As announced earlier in this Tribal Trouble thread in our forums, Oddlab is now seeking beta testers for their upcoming game (Oddlabs' Newsletter November 2004):
"Despite several delays, Tribal Trouble has finally reached a state where it is playable enough to begin the first round of testing. Although called a beta, the game is not yet feature complete, but because of the wide range of supported hard- and software platforms, we would like to see how it behaves on different system configurations.
The first round of testing will mainly focus on stability issues of the game itself and the underlying Light Weight Java Game Library (LWJGL). Right now we only need a limited group of testers to try out the game on various hardware and operating systems, but as development progresses, we will invite more testers to comment on gameplay as well as the look and feel of the game.
If you are a Windows or Linux user and would like to spend some hours helping us test how Tribal Trouble behaves on different systems, please follow the link below and fill out the beta tester application form. Unfortunately, the Macintosh version is not yet ready for testing, so Mac users will have to join in later (you can still submit an application form though - we will notify newsletter subscribers when Mac testing is about to begin).
[..]
As we will be using our forum for feedback and important announcements, you need to create a forum user before filling out the application form. If you haven't already done so, you can register for the forum here:
http://oddlabs.com/forum/profile.php?mode=register
Once you have been granted a beta tester account, you will receive further information on how to get started."
| Tribal Trouble beta testers wanted | default | |
