Enigma | games | -1 | Great | Gigantic, I was a great fan of Oxyd, Peroxyd and others... Enigma is very well, but quite unplayable yet, because mouse doesn't remain in the game window... | 2002-04-06 06:44:42 | 0
Enigma | games | 2076 | Re: Great | Try pressing F11 to keep the mouse inside the window or F12 to switch to fullscreen mode. | 2002-04-06 10:00:17 | 5195
TuxKart | games | -1 | Re: Source | The source is on the website. Click on the download button on the left hand side of the page. There is a link there to download a gzipped tar file. Download the file and put it in its own directory. Type "gunzip", followed by the filename. Then try typing "tar -xvf" followed by the filename minus the original ".gz" That should unpack the tar archive. Go into the folder it creates and then look for a "README" file for compilation instructions. | 2002-04-06 10:06:50 | 5193
FooBillard | games | -1 | Some minor details for such a nice game | First let me tell you this game looks great. I enjoy a lot playing it.<BR> I have played about 10 games and i haven't been able to beat the AI :) <P> But i have noticed 3 minor details while playing it:<P> - While placing the white ball after a fault you can place it "overwriting" another balls<BR> - When AI plays with full colored balls (balls like number 8) he/her hits the nr 8 ball like if it wasn't fault to hit it before a colored ball.<BR> - Sound effects would be great, just the sound of balls colliding... Maybe if the game uses SDL as someone suggested this would be easy? uh i dont know much about programming, nor about writing in english :)<P> My rating: 6 / 5 stars<BR> Very nice job<BR> | 2002-04-06 20:06:15 | 0

Enigma | games | -1 | completeness? | Hi All, I was also a fan of Oxyd. Could anyone mention the completeness of Enigma w.r.t. Oxyd? How many of the original levels are the same, how many of the dongles etc. function the same way.. the same surfaces, etc.. I couldn't find anything to this effect on the homepage.. | 2002-04-07 17:33:23 | 0
Return To Castle Wolfenstein | games | -1 | On crack | The people that say this game sucks are on crack. You can always use WINE to get the PAK files, it worked for me. If you want to get off your lazy a$$es and write the installer yourself, then do it. Otherwise, keep your mouth's shut. *mumbles* "godd&#n complainers". Now, for those of you that have actually got the game working (like myself), you must agree that the graphics are superb and the gameplay is phat. I heard someone whining that there were no mods for the game. The damn thing came out just a couple months ago. Q3 has been out forever. Give it time. The whole game is excellent. Yes, I agree that the installer could be a little easier, but here is an idea for all those idiots out there: Go to a windoze box, install the game, copy the pak files to a folder named PAK and the installer binary to a CD, write a shell script that says something like <BR><BR> <HR> <BR> #!/bin/sh <BR><BR> ./wolf-installer<BR> cp pak/*.pak pak/*.pk3 /usr/local/games/wolfenstein/main<BR><BR> <HR> <BR> name it setup.sh, chmod it 755, and run that to install the game. Once you do that, you will have your own CD with the files needed to run the game and it will be done for you. You don't have to go to that dreadful windows machine anymore. Do you want it to be any easier? Oh, my bad, there is work involved. Heaven forbid... | 2002-04-07 20:13:10 | 0
