I read somewhere, that this game isn't in GameTome, and in general it is hard to find anything about the Linux version. So I came here, and submitted it :)) | 2002-02-06 04:54:58 | 4742 |

| 4754 | Cube | games | -1 | Re: Game crash data | So I did, but I too get the "mixed version error" and my X-server has to be restarted (stucks on 640 x 480). I'm on RedHat 7.2, fresh install + self-compiled kernel 2.4.17, SDL from RH-rpms: SDL-1.2.2-3, SDL_image-1.2.0-3, SDL_mixer-1.2.0-4 and SDL_net-1.2.2-1. Do I need the devel-packages? Btw: Quake 3 and Terminus are running perfectly here. My Hardware: 1Ghz Athlon K7C, Geforce II MX | 2002-02-06 07:50:38 | 4696 |

| 4761 | Tux Racer | games | -1 | Re: Tux Racer | You have almost certainly misconfigured your machine. 99% certain you installed the nVidia drivers without uninstalling Mesa and therefore you are running this game using a software emulation of OpenGL and your shiney new GeForce card is idle. This is clearly explained in the installation notes for the nVidia OpenGL driver. Don't blame the system if you don't RTFM. | 2002-02-06 15:36:05 | 4278 |
| 4762 | Theocracy | games | -1 | I managed to get it | I ordered it back in July and Tux Games finally got me a copy in November. Since then they have had it in stock, I wonder why. The game is an interesting concept and it has its good points. However it was clearly not geared to run on Linux and has some peculiarities (they don't really tell you how to install, just use sh on the appropriate binary). Of course this could just be my Suse 7.3 which seems to run all Loki games a bit strangely (no sound depending on game, not always full screen, etc...) | 2002-02-06 17:17:11 | 0 |
