To be successful a team must have a mixture of classes and all work together to assault the enemy base and defend the fort. Q3F (now Q3F2) is a great add-on mod for Quake3 that works just dandy with Linux Quake3. This mod has all the physics of the original QuakeWorld mod that made Valve famous (before TFC) and some seriously enhanced features like a remote video display for sentry guns and just beautiful graphics. Classic old maps like 2Forts are all there with the wild and crazy gameplay like you would expect from a Fortress variant. Greatly improved recently, I now rate this a solid 5-stars. Totally recommended for Fortress fans! | Quake3 Fortress 2.2 | new | Quake3 Fortress |

Because of this, aspect ratios in the various graphic modes should be correct now. <li>Moved all platform specific video code to video.cpp. This should make it easier to add functionality to the video subsystem without having to chase code around in places where it didn't belong. <li>Key bindings are now customizable. <li>VJ now uses a config file (vj.cfg) for commonly used settings. Settings in the config file can still be overridden by command line switches. <li>Preliminary GUI mouse support. <li>Fixed an off-by-one bug in the Object Processor when dealing with scaled bitmap objects. <li>Fully virtualized screen size. What this means is that we can keep the Jagaur screen displayed in a convenient size (320 x 240) and the graphics that various ROMs display will now be properly centered (more or less, they were really centered for a TV display). <li>Border color is now displayed properly. <li>Fully pipelined DSP core. Because of this, Wolfenstein 3D now has sound. To use the old core, use the -nopipeline switch. </ul> | Virtual Jaguar v1.0.6 | updated | Virtual Jaguar |
