There's no auto-upgrade setting for your cities, there's a lot of tedious resource gathering, if you're moving a long distance, you have to tell your heroes to move every single turn (they don't just continue on without being told, even though they've already plotted the route), and I get stuck in a playing style of "build a huge army behind one hero, go out, smash some things... if I run into an opponent's huge army, I get smashed, wait ten years until another huge army is built..." I'm not usually an impatient player, but I could rarely make it to the end of a scenerio without losing interest.</p> <p>Someday, I'll give it another chance.
