Some little contributions have been made sofar considering controller/sound support on Linux, but these have all had to go personally through me, as they introduced bugs if I had merged these blindly. I don't expect people to suddenly just introduce AI for example, or do major improvements on multiplayer code. Without first severely probably generating a quality assurance problem, to put it mildly. So, no, I won't put this in GPL, and if this gives such a hassle, I won't put it up for public download either. The idea is to give Racer away for free, while if someone wants to do a commercial sim with the engine, I'm still able to sell the engine source (which they may then enhance at will, in closed form), without the free Racer program going away. When I last tried it though, the wilderness could have used a bit more adventure beyond the miniquests and *spoilercensored*. The sole thing I prefer in Adom versus Zangband is the few 'set' dungeons where you get to the bottom of one and voila, something is Done. A bit like the additional quests, only deeper.
