It is coded nearly platform independend and so it is not comparable with commercial $70 Windows games with hardware dependent optimized code. The graphics are pretty poor - that's right, but he's a coder not an graphics artist. And in opposit of many coders, it seems to me, graphic artists won't work for idealism but for money only. The main drawback is that there are too many instant-death traps that kill you without warning. This becomes very frustrating because there are no save-game or continue-game options.
