Lots of stuff has to be hacked to make it work, and some of the sources are not present. No configure, but I'm not a demanding guy: not even decent Makefiles, and that's when they're present. This is like a propietary project brought to the light of freedom, but with total disrespect to the time of others: it demands a lot of patience to build. Some effort should be put on the build system.
