| 469 | gnu go | games | 690 | gnu go | This is a surprisingly strong go game. The last computer go game I played, I gave it 9 stones and kicked its ass without really having to think about it. This one is a lot stronger than that. Go is notoriously difficult for a computer to play, and this seems to be an excellent start. It still can't REALLY play the game, but it doesn't make a lot of stupid mistakes. It would be a good learning tool for a high kyu player, and probably fun for an intermediate player in speed go mode. Four stars for effort.
