This is because our Debian maintainer feels that it is prefereable to keep the number of shared libraries required for the binary to a miminum.</p> <p>In contrast, the binary .rpm includes the tty, X11, GTK, Gnome and Qt ports - which means it needs <em>lots</em> of shared libraies.</p> <p>There's no reason you can't compile the game yourself on Debian and include support for the GTK interface.
