Well ok Hermes works, ClanLib takes a LOT of time to compile but works, too. Then 'Race' checks ClanLib stuff over and over again and fails although an up-to-date version is properly installed. I think this game might be a lot of fun and I'd really like to play it but with such annoying dependencies it's quite impossible. I don't know what exactly you use of ClanLib but SDL is an excellent library with everything for sound, graphics and input handling. And it works as stand-alone! Ok, it got a steeper requirement for external libs, but thats a price to pay for a library that includes so very much more than input,display and sound. I used SDL in the beginning, and spent most of my time developing the background stuff I need in my games. Now that I recently switched to ClanLib, I'm able to spend time on gameplay!
