Music was good, but nothing to shout about (actually I found some of the pieces to be a bit of an odd choice for a game like this, but that doesn't mean they are a bad choice). Voice acting wasn't great, but it fullfills its purpose. The gameplay: the interface isn't the most user friendly I've seen (I would have liked a pop up menu showing the action choices a lot better, frantically clicking the right mouse button to see the choises and then pick one isn't the ideal interface). The problems mostly consisted of finding the correct group of pixels and trying the different actions on them (the puzzles themselves were logical, and thus, quite easy). The storyline is involving and interesting and I like the idea of being an FBI agent, solving crimes and looking for evidence. The demo is a bit too short to deserve 4 or 5 stars, but I might buy the game if it's considered large and challenging enough (for the right reasons, not challenging because of find-the-correct-pixel problems, but logical challenging, like the Monkey Island games) in the press. | 1999-03-12 06:50:07 | 0 |
