3095 4 2002-11-15 16:05:18 From the NWN Linux Client Page:
Short weeks always play havoc with development, and in Canada we had Monday off for Rememberance Day. The result was that we were far to busy in development to have screenshots this week but did a bunch of multiplayer "testing" and bug-fixing. A great deal of time was spent playing competitive multiplayer modules connected to the Mac Client/Server version. Playing the game too much is also bad for development, but good for testing. :)

So it seems as if the linux client is in an internal beta stage now?
News on NWN Linux Client default

Your goal is to kill everything that moves and survive. You will encounter many different objects, that all has different behaviours in killing you and when killed. Most of them will subdivide in to many smaller objects. You can find different weapons and accessories to help on your way. The game experience just can't be explained, it has to be experienced. Even if the graphics are quite simple you will be amazed. The sound-effects are great too. Just but your brains on the shelf, relax and get ready to be hypnotized by this wonderful game! 3102 2 2002-11-16 21:06:39 The results of Linux Journal's yearly Readers' Choice Awards are in. Hidden among a vast list of rather boring categories that couldn't possibly interest anyone, like "Favorite Distribution" and "Favroite Desktop Environment", was the "Favorite Linux Game" category. The results were quite interesting:
Favorite Linux Game

Quake 3
Tux Racer
Freeciv
We collected 3,514 total votes in the favorite game category, and the first-place winner, Quake 3, only received 473 votes. Do you know what that means? It means a lot of games are out there, and each one is somebody's favorite. Among write-ins, Frozen Bubble and Return to Castle Wolfenstein are the most popular.
The entire Readers' Choice Awards results are available here.
