LBreakout games 3722 LBreakout I think this game needs its on mailing list, considering a new version is realeased nearly everyday. 2000-10-02 16:45:24 0
Chromium B.S.U. games 3722 Chromium B.S.U. To poster number one, um why is it that everyone blames the user when something goes wrong in Linux? I think you answered your own question. 2000-10-03 05:10:59 0
LBreakout games 4074 LBreakout I had that 'ball's moving too fast' problem too but only once. I thought it was some kind of compiler error. Might be a timer problem I will work on that. 2000-10-03 13:33:51 0
Chromium B.S.U. games -1 Chromium B.S.U. To #1 poster :) The XFree86 4.0x drivers do 3D accelerate some cards like the Voodoo series. NVidia chose to release their own 3D drivers though. 3D support in Linux is bound to get easier though, its all rather new. Since most of its open (save the NVidia drivers) most distributions will probably install it for you in the future. Making it perhaps even easier than those other OSes, yeah! 2000-10-04 02:21:09 0
0verkill games -1 0verkill Wonderfull! I played the game a LOT in my school, in a LAN with 20 other players... It was really fun. Only 2 problems: 1) Sometimes people would screw the ranking by repeatedly killing each other at the place the game starts - i think the rank should be ordered by frags-deaths (and I implemented this idea here :) 2) Sometimes the game "locks" for one or more players, and only when someone kills them they can start to play again. 2000-10-04 06:50:22 0
Freeciv games -1 Freeciv Just like Civ II, but you can play with people online. 2000-10-04 16:08:27 0
Freeciv games -1 Freeciv The FreeCiv hackers are working to try and make strategies other than "cover the face of creation with teeny little cities" effective. And they've got some... delightful... ideas in this vein. Heh heh heh. 2000-10-04 21:00:17 0
Tux Racer games 810 Tux Racer I'm amending my rating from 4 to 5 stars because although the gameplay hasn't changed much since the last major release, the graphics have improved beyond all recognition. Someone asked about a level editor...you don't need one - it's *EASY* to design new levels using any paint program. Just check the documents that come with the program. 2000-10-05 20:02:09 0
IceBreaker games 4094 IceBreaker Perhaps I'm a bit biased. But I like it. *grin* 2000-10-05 21:01:44 0
Tux Racer games 3430 Tux Racer Simply the best! If you have a 3D card what are you witing for? 2000-10-06 12:59:10 0
