Even without 3D, this game is awesome. I'm trundling around in my wireframe world beating the crap out of anything that moves. Now, if only we could get someone on the servers! |

Game-play and nostalga in one go. Manic Miner is JSW in a straight line. Start with level1, finish at level20 (off the top of my head). I was *SO* pissed when after I completed the game it dumped me right back at level1 *ARGGHHHH*

The best action game I've tried yet on Linux (which is not saying much, since Linux is pretty poor in games). In any case, it's still a lots of fun; I'd give it 5 starts if only there were some AI players and a better, integrated "options" system instead of the slapped on tkBlast interface. It runs well on my small Pentium/133 with 48Megs of RAM.
Definitely worth the download! |

Too slow for my non-3Dfx system; couldn't even play it... Nice screenshots in any case! |

It freaked out my video card, then died.
I think 0 stars needs to be an option. |

A classic if you liked it when it came out. Like Doom with some new twists. (and different weapons) A tad bit of magic. (where Doom was shoot 'em up) Good Sound and GFX, needs better networking. (TCP/IP AND stable) All in all Linux needs more reasonable games like this to play on rainy days. |
